Can someone explain the difference(s) between a 69' ac dash frame and a 70' dash frame. My uncle wants to convert to ac on his 70' RR and so I'm on the hunt for a dash, but not sure if I can use a earlier dash frame or not.

In 1970 they moved the ignition key to the steering column. In 1969, it was in the dash.

The structure is different in many ways from a 69 to a 70 Rallye and they do not interchange. The 70 ash tray, glove box, and lower panel provisions as well as other components inc. Ign switch as mentioned fasten and fit differently. I may have a 70 Rallye dash w/A/C structure available i should know directly i have a sale pending PM me if interested

Sweet! That is easy to fix. Is that the only difference?

Found a 70' ac dash. My uncle is pretty happy......now I have ALOT of work to do!!
