My dad was like that. He disliked my muscle car era taste. Believing too loud and always needing tuning. He wasn't happy unless the car was an aircraft carrier? My first remembrance was his 57 Cadillac De Ville. And I remember him buying a Buick Wildcat in '69. He would say that my hod rod motor (Then a '66 GTO 389) would fit in his carburetor

No kidding. Wish I still had it. A very cool car in very good shape.

My 70 R/T S.E. at Milan Dragway 1989. Still have it today. No more over sized tires on the rear though. Mix it up still with the Cragars and the stock look with the Rallyes.

The first I really remember was a 66 Fury with the 383 in blue my mom drove and my Dads Newport Blue not sure engine .
After that a police special 73 Fury center caps and all in the ugliest beige that I drove and my dads then 76 Newport dark blue.
Boats just kept coming .
I thought the Fury was fast but it was a big heavy boat but I could fit 8 people in it .
