Rectangular headlights and a 'bird wing?
Rectangular headlights and a 'bird wing?
Those were my exact same thoughts...and I wouldn't oppose a 'bird wing on a 70 Roadrunner, but square headlights? I'd have to see it to believe that could be made to look right or good..Rectangular headlights and a 'bird wing?
It was the 70s DaddyO. Double shag carpet on the dash. But that car is missing the top wing blade? (If one is good? Two is better.)Rectangular headlights and a 'bird wing?
Because they're the FINEST B-Body year of ALL!But my question? What is up with all the 70s B-bodies? Even on Facebook and other platforms?
I think '69 is best year. Best year in all US Automotive design history. '70 a close 2nd. '68 3rd. JMO.Because they're the FINEST B-Body year of ALL!

My "birthday" into the MOPAR family forever, came when I was 7 years old, in 1969, when my parents bought a new 69 B5 Blue Roadrunner. 383 column shift, AC, power brakes..I think '69 is best year. Best year in all US Automotive design history. '70 a close 2nd. '68 3rd. JMO.
Obviously taste is very subjective. And '70 may get the slight body line nod for Plymouth. But Dodge? I think '69 is the king. Certainly Coronet and Superbee. Charger? Well that's the most subjective. And the market's B-body leader. My "birthday" into the MOPAR family forever, came when I was 7 years old, in 1969, when my parents bought a new 69 B5 Blue Roadrunner. 383 column shift, AC, power brakes..
When my LEO dad matted the gas pedal on the Interstate to catch a speeder that had just blown by us, and about ½ mile later the chase was over, and the speeder was getting a ticket from my dad, well, I've been a MOPAR fan ever since!
My point to all that is I like the 69 B-bodies too, a LOT, and while the 68s are nice, 69 brought FRESH AIR under the hood to feed whatever BEAST lay within.
I was making a provoking joke, in that I do like my 70 Roadrunner body style best, here we would get all year ranges of "favorite year" B-Body!
But Dodge? I think '69 is the king. Certainly Coronet and Superbee.

I like the rear wheel wells to get a little more meat under there? But I think that's it?
I know it's Ma Mopar and Plymouth, but that show car doesn't do much for me. It's too much like a Hot Wheels effort.
