Recently purchased a 70 Roadrunner. Came with the broadcast sheet. Trying to figure what exactly I am reading line by line. Have found what the codes mean on the internet (all seem to start with a letter followed by two numbers).
My questions are;
1. Line 1 & 2 are labeled Basic Car: Assume these are the codes for a basic Plymouth B body?
2. Lines 3 - 5 show Build Codes: : I take it these show what was actually installed on the car over and above the basic options?
3. Lines 6-11 show Sales Codes:

Example: Line #2 shows a basic engine is a 318 (fender tag shows a 383)....On line #4 the code 150 is under "Engine" (second column on that line).....cannot find a 150 code anywhere.

Is there a web site that shows what all these codes are line by line?

thanks
a "newbie"

The first thing you want to check before trying to decode it for your car is to compare the V.I.N. on the top line to your car's V.I.N.plate to make sure it is the correct broadcast sheet for YOUR car. There were many cars built that ended up with the wrong sheet when the got to the trim department on the assembly line.

Well I guess that's what the problem is then...Vin # on the Broadcast Sheet does NOT match the Vin # on the car.

Thanks for the head up

there are a lot of folks interested in finding the old sheets, it is sometimes useful to put the VIN from your sheet out there to see if you can find the rightful car!

Thanks for checking.
