Filler identification 13-64-22 which is p/n 2962 544-5 in the pictorial below.

Also, there are quantity 8 RETAINER, Bumper Filler which is p/n 2898 909 shown in the p/n listing below.

None of those. It’s this. Which I’m beginning to think is some home made or aftermarket things long since vanished. But enough guys know about them and have them it was more than just one guy at some point and works. This is not mine.

My theory is these are actual stock parts but were not designed and installed until Dodge realized the bumper fillers were a problem later in production. My car was built in 69. But lots of guys I am talking to have these in their stock cars. That would explain why they are not shown in the manual and my early production car does not have them.
 
I tried to take a picture of one on my 70 Coronet. Bumper is installed so hard to see

It looks like just a flat piece of metal with a curve. If this isn't going to be a show car, couldn't a rectangle of steel be bent around a pipe or something and have a few holes drilled?
 
So these ARE stock. Now how can I find some?
I would think so. I just got a set of rechromed bumpers/grille surrounds. So I'll be taking the bumper off. I'll take some better pictures when I do.

I was thinking the same. I think I might be missing some, since the filler strip is a little loose.
