1970 Charger stolen out of SE Minnesota

Imagine going online and seeing YOUR stuff advertised for sale...

There is a guy on Craigslist here always selling 10 to 20 tailgates? I wonder where those all came from?

I've always wondered how it works with a stolen car. Obviously, this is not a 2010 Honda Accord. It's going to stick out like a sore thumb. Do the thieves try to re VIN the car or just sell its parts on the internet?
I'm sure they get parted out. Glad the owner got lucky and it was found before too long. Most of the time not that lucky. I remember a few years ago, a guy not far from me had his high dollar 68 Hemi Charger stolen from a secure garage while he was on vacation. It has not been found. I have not seen any parts from it for sale around me so more than likely was out of state within an hour or two. These guys get real good at it. We probably should all buy those hidden GPS locators for at least a chance for recovery. I have been considering it but have not followed through yet.

Nothing will happen to them, they are good boys just having fun! Our fault for leaving our cars where they can get them. They are the victims.
Are you sure you're not from chicago? I've heard that a million times. We had the state's attorney refuse to press charges because she felt they were mutual combatants. Only one of them had a knife.

I think Denver is now the leading car theft city. If your Kia or Hyundai gets stolen, the cops will outright tell you they aren't going to do anything about it.

Anybody considering putting an Apple air tag on their Mopar? Or similar tracking devices that are cheap and DIY?

Looking for low budget solutions like this. No punishment these days for criminals it seems and they can find our cars by joining forums like this and utilizing Google, peopleFinder, spokeo etc.
