Not exactly,I got a Plum Crazy Purple 70 Charger R/T thats going to be an accurate replica of Jerrys car.
My take on the 1970 Daytona's is that their was some factory involvement. The photos of the Watermelon Daytona were taken at Hamtramack,and were found by Greg in a folder marked Bob McCurrys car. The car was built using a 70 Charger R/T body with no rear window plug/ trunklid modification. The Purple car is built exactly the same as the watermelon car,by a dealership in Maryland,yet it is built exactly the same,unlikely without some factory involvement.
Watermelon Daytona. I supplied a Texas Charger body,and a Dana 60 for the project.
