Where does the vacuum canister for a 70 air grabber go and what does it look like? Is it the same as a 69 Charger headlight canister? I have an air grabber hood and the switch (not installed yet) but not the vacuum canister. Also need to know where the switch goes on the dash and how it is routed through the firewall. Diagrams or actual photos would be great.
Thanks, John

So the canister mounts on the firewall to the passenger side of the heater hoses and just a bit lower.

Also the canister is unique to the airgrabber use only? Or did some other Mopar also use this canister?

Anyone have a vacuum line routing diagram?
Anyone have a picture of the switch mounted on the dash?

Thank you all
John

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. #1 shows the position of the cannister. Mine is missing a bolt but you can see where the hole is for it. #3 is the firewall grommet. It has 3 holes in it for the hoses to pass through. BTW, if anyone knows a source for these i could really use a new one. Pretty ratty lookin' as you can see. #4 is blurry but shows the air grabber switch beneath and a bit to the left of the wiper switch. Hope this helps.

not sure if the cannister is unique to air grabber applications.

Late 70 early 80s Ford trucks have a canister that is a dead rinner for the air grabber canister. Same mount and hose location.
