1970 Roadrunner project

picked up new project its 1970 Roadrunner post car off this site ,Rh door was junk so found a mint 70 dr on Craigslist no rust widow rolls up and down with ease , problems when I tried to test fit door ,the vent window is hitting the trim when I close the dr ,does a hardtop car have different vent window ..This is probably the nicest used door I ever bought ,the windows don’t seem to fit .I Tryed to loosen vent window to push it down a little thanks Gregg

The glass itself is different between a post and a hardtop. The vent windows should be the same. The hardtop glass has the trim piece that makes up the gap between the quarter glass and the door glass.

This is a charger hard top glass. Edit previously posted wrong glass for the post car..

Both vent frames the same. You need to loosen off the nuts/bolts, screws and allen key head screw that's hidden behind the door panel 1/4" plug etc and adjust/tip the frame to fit the A pillars angle. Door glass is of course different from Coupe to Hardtop.

This is a Coronet Post car glass. Which should all be relevant.

got a red X.... even though I said the same exact thing dadsbee said. RETRACT MY X.. Guess I'll throw around some red X's too..

This site lists them as different part numbers between the Post and Hardtop cars. So you can get glass here if you need it.
