1970 RR FM3.

Yes looks like you have the cutouts for the wing, early 70 did not have them (mine doesn't)
Mine is a late '70 car and does have the cutouts for a wing.

Well, she's finally on her way here from Chicago. I really can't wait! Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Dumb question, but did all 70 road runners come standard with the hood stripe?

don't think it was standard , it is V21 on the fender tag on cars with it

Finally got her in my shop. It's kinda interesting going through it and doing a little archeology to see what I can find out. The car was really well represented. The paint job is crap, but I knew that. It appears to be the second repaint. There was a second layer of pink applied at some point (as evidence by pink on some of the trim). Front left fender was replace with one from a burnt orange car, too.

The coolest thing I've found so far is when the differential was painted, they taped off the original factory markings, so they're still intact. Kinda cool! I'm definitely not going to stray too far from the build sheet on this one. I might grab a spare hood so i can do the painted stripe and maybe some pins... but keep the original, and have it painted the same time the car is, then hang it in the barn. that'll be down the road a bit.

Congrats on your new toy,

good luck & Happy "PINK" Moparing
