Thanks for proven what we already knew. If that car ad was "real" @$5,500 it would have never needed to be listed as someone this guy knows would have grabbed it up BEFORE it ever hit the market...

Only pictures that show up on Google Search are from the Craigslist add. Good chance it's legit. Unless the scammer took pics from his Instagram.

So after reading CHARGERSTEVEN's last post I thought "what the hell" and I send this email - at 11:15 PM

"Hi. I'm very interested. Would like to come and see it. Also. you say you can deliver ... I'm in Windsor."

Here's the reply I got:

"I think it's sold in morning with deposit unless u coming now to see it"

Sounds legit enough. I am wondering whay he'd use the previous owner's photos in the ad though. And to my previous post, Craigslist is not a popular selling site in Canada whichleads me to believe if he is a scammer he's in the states. Also, a lookup on that phone number says its a U.S. number.

So right now I've exchanged over 20 messages. We're at the point they're expecting a deposit. Strangely, they've sent me a valid email address for an "E-transfer" - which only works between Canadian banks !! They gave me two valid addresses although that's not to say they live at either one !!
