Tom at Rocket Restorations in Olympia, WA is putting up his '70 Superbird for sale. Numbers match transmission. Originally white, now orange. For price and more info contact [email protected].
Time to cash in the Bitcoin.I have heard it's a $150k ask which seems pretty fair. Someone will be happy.
Despite all that, if 150k is the number, it is still worth it. Loads of impossible to find NOS parts included and a 4 speed car as well. Tom described all of it's imperfections in detail and for a real 4 speed Superbird, that's a good deal. 150k is of course only second hand information as I have not spoken to him personally. So I watched the video. Not putting down the car but it does need some work. There is rust under the vinyl top. Not original motor. So keeping with the title of this thread, WIW.
You are right! Someone will be happy and I can fart in his pants from here.I have heard it's a $150k ask which seems pretty fair. Someone will be happy.
Carpe Diem My Brother ……..The crazy thing is I'll be in Washington state next week. About 1.5 hours away from rocket restorations. Half tempted to go have a look.
