I am selling my resurrected 1971 Charger. I say resurrected because this was not a restoration. I simply brought this car back from the dead. I have put 7 years into this car getting it running and reliable. It is a fantastic drive !
This car has been rebodied by a previous owner. This is why I am listing it as a Charger instead of Charger R/T which is what the VIN, door sticker and engine match. This is also reflected in the asking price. Obviously a natural Charger R/T would command a much, much higher price. I just want to be fair and make sure that prospective buyers are aware of this issue. This did not prevent it from being registered in NY. I have been driving it for the past 2-3 years. It is road legal and inspected. Obviously this is not for the purist, but for someone who just wants to drive the snot out of it and have fun doing so. I take it to car shows and do not worry about anything. This car is an excellent R/T clone candidate.

Ok, more about the mechanicals of the car. It has the 440HP Magnum engine running through a 727 automatic (rebuilt in 2023) ending up at a 3:23 ratio peg leg differential. It has an after market B&M Quicksilver shifter installed in an unmolested center console. I have the original Slap Stik shift assembly which goes with the car. I did not install it because the quicksilver works just fine. It has the complete R/T louvered hood assembly. It has a new headliner and carpeting installed 2 years ago. The exhaust is a 3" complete system using stock HP cast manifolds, with chrome slash cut tips. The back seat is genuine, the fronts are Toyota buckets. The front buckets are on the original dodge seat tracks. This car is from the Southwest and has no rust. I have installed 15x9 Crager rims on it with brand new 245 Cooper Cobra GT Radials. I do have the original mounted 14" Rallye wheels with tires, caps and trim rings that are part of the sale. The fuel tank sending unit is new an I also installed an electric fuel pump. Car also has Hideaway headlights (currently inop). All exterior lighting and signals work.

I have a slew of extra parts that go with this car, basically everything I own related to this car. This includes several radios, outside mirror housings (no lenses, not sure why), cast water pump housings, just more things than I can list here.

Now for the full disclosure...The fuel gauge is not working, all other gauges are functioning. Most of the dash board light bulbs need replacing, Hideaway headlights are inop (relay ?). The front end should have new bushings. Center console needs a hinge and lock. Trunk needs a lock. The car really could stand a nice paint job.
$20,000 or best reasonable offer.
