So I was looking online and I stumbled upon a picture of a 71 Charger panther pink ( I know panther pink was only a 70 color) that was an rt se model with a full vinyl top. I know you could get an rt se in 71 but I've only seen them with the canopy roof.

You'd just need to spec it out as a V08 and then a V1X. The factory was good with stuff like that back then.

Can you post a pic of the tag? It should have been coded somewhere, otherwise it's a factory screw up.

He's talking about the r/t full roof appearing on an SE, which technically would be an R/T SE

My 72 is a Lynch Road car, and I don't think the full top on it is coded.

The factory did not badge any 71 charger r/t with an SE or vice versa. It was either or. The SE was much more than just a vinyl top

One more reply for "there was no such thing as an RT SE in 71". Either Or is correct.
