1971 GTX Rocker Moulding ?

I bought a nice set of 71 GTX rocker moldings at the Mopar Nats about 5-6 years ago. They were there Thursday-Sunday think he was asking $600pr. Guy said I was the only one who even knew what they were and asked about them. Sunday I asked him what's the best he would do and he said something like make an offer I can fit cash in my pocket easier than these moldings. I said give me bottom dollar and he said just make an offer I can always say no or negotiate from there. I said ok $250pr he said take him...
Also on another note be-careful as lots of people try and sell Gran Coupe Cuda ones as GTX ones they look alike just shorter...

i don't know the lengths
the GTX is slightly longer
the easiest way to tell apart is
the cuda has 2 screw holes one at each end
and the Gtx has mutiple screw holes along the whole length

These pics are for another member. I took measurements while I had them out 81 1/4 in on bottom and 81 1/2 in. on top so there is a slight taper.

They look like them especially with the screw holes but they appear to be bent at the ends. Mine are straight with no sweep like those pictured...

Could be a picture issue cause it curves right where the tail gate is no longer in the pic...Here is a car and you can see how straight they are...

I have checked out probably 50 gtx photos and zoomed in and even watched videos of cars in for sale ad. Why I was here asking before spending that kind of cash as if they wrapped that much I will be passing. Nice to talk to others that actually own them already

They definitely looked like mine were curved. Not much, but definitely not perfectly straight..LOVE your GTX !! Wow!

Your words are ringing true for me. I bought a set off EBAY that were advertised for a 71 GTX only. The shop had them in storage until today, and when they went to install them they found out quickly they were not a fit. I contacted the Ebay seller and he is refusing to make it right - saying these are correct .

We can clearly see what was done here and as a group we don't have to deal with that guy anymore since what he did to you is not right. Tell us who the seller was so we know not to buy from him...

He goes by - https://www.ebay.com/usr/sixpak70fish . If I can get accurate measurements of the correct part, I am going to pay a visit to a few CNC shops close to me and see if they can make it.

The poster only had 1 post to his account, so I am not so sure he was legit.

I bought the set that was on craigstlist that was posted above.. Pretty good shape. The owner had one of them stripped , but both in great shape.

Hello crahill39, I have a 73 Cuda and was considering putting rocker moldings on it. I was wondering if yours are for a Cuda & wanting to sell the ones you have. I'm in Indiana & guess shipping would be expensive. By the looks of your GTX they must be in very good condition.A Cudas looks to be around 75" long. If you want to sell them let me know. Thank you
