Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have been working on a 1973 charger project for a couple years now, it is a base 318 car that I have swapped a 360 and A-518 into. All of the front suspension is completely worn and the car handles like a truck. I am looking to overhaul all of the front suspension and bushings. I am a college student and am on a short budget, do you have any recommendations on kits? I noticed the 71-74 challenger and the earlier 70-72 charger suspension kits are much cheaper than the 73 charger kits. What is the difference between these?

73-4 B-body is a completely different K-member set-up than a 70-4 E-body or a 71-2 B-body set-up so the parts are different than those and priced differently...

Yup, completely different deal... First thing I'd do is put urethane body to subframe mounts... What part of California? Doesn't look like LA...

Check with PST to replace the wearable suspension parts, shock absorbers, etc. along with ^^ subframe mounts.

I agree on the solid or stiff poly ISO bushings.

Now lets talk about those upper control arm bushings and the lack of documentation on replacing them.

...and that 1973 only steering "rag joint" coupler.

I am about to redo my entire Front and Rear Suspension, along with the steering on my 1973 Charger. I'm not a "keep it original" guy, but if it performs best with the old stuff, then so be it... I read the above posts. I was hoping to find a one-stop shop for Front/rear suspension, but I don't think they exist... And for the love of god, there is NO love for the 73-74 charger :(. I want to be able to run 17 or 18s and would like tubular upper/lower control arms...I don't think I want a coilover, but I do want the good stuff as I do this project. I saw some tubular arms at TRZ Motorsports. Has anyone had any experience with them? Do any other places sell tubular arms? I'm open to suggestions. I'm not saying price is not an issue, but I'm fairly flexible when it comes to spending money to make things easier and perform better. The less modding, the better.

If you want to do a stock Front End with *** U.S.A. made parts *** across the board, I can supply you with all 15 items // NO " back orders " !!!!
NO Modifications Required....

P.M. me , as per forum rules , if interested.......
