Hello. I'm new to the forum and was hoping you folks could help me out. I have 1973 Charger SE and am getting ready to redo my interior. Nothing crazy, just back to stock. I'm searching for a headliner, front buckets and a dash pad. I was hoping you all may be able to direct me towards any after market dealers you have dealt with that are reliable and have a good product. Thanks for any help you can offer.

What color?

I have a new in the box tan headliner I'll sell for a lot less than new.

Have not decided on color yet, just feeling out reliable sources. If I go with tan I'll hit ya up. Thanks man.

Also looking for the door to the cigar lighter compartment and a wind shield wiper knob.

Place an ad in the want section for the seats. Legendary makes the seat covers, upper door panels, carpet and headliner. I have a couple of the high back bench with arm rest that came in the SE's. Probably have the ashtray too.

ebay , search 73 74 charger se parts. I got my headliner , carpet and other items from various vendors using ebay as a search. I just ordered my seat covers from Dantes

I just did my 73 SE over the last 2 years. Well, here is what I would recommend.
Headliner and you will need the matching sail panel inside with the board. Dantes

Prices are fair and a good guy to deal with. He has seat covers as well assuming you have seats and just need the cover. I git mine from Legendary and was disapointed. The buttons have come off already. They sent me new buttons but the work involved ... I'd like them right the first time.
As far as the dash, Carolina Super Dash, they are the BEST.

They redo OLD dash pad frames using the original metal so they fit perfectly and look GREAT.
If you need carpet I recommend Pony Parts Plus http://www.ponypartsplus.com/
I know, it's a Mustang place - Lynn will get you the correct carpet for your car and the quality is the best I've used.
Hope that helps.

How much did Nozgraphics charge for the dash pad restoration? What was the turn around time? Any pics?

Thanks

I have a lot of other used tan interior pieces.

I used to have a complete tan interior and duplicates. I've since sold the NIB carpet, FC buckets and GC buddy seat.
I used the back seat bottom frame, but still have the GC cover and GC with one small rip back,

I just harvested a VGC set of kick panels and a VGC non-rallye dash complete (harness, etc) with only three cracks in the pad. Ashtray never had ashes.

for interior except Dash Pad, go to Legendary interiors. and for Dash pad, DO NOT go to P&G. I got one of theirs and it did not fit, their corners are rounded and 73-74's are squared.

I eventually got one Dante's, several of the studs were stripped and they want your core, but the pad itself is great and I rethreaded the stripped studs.

I've had three ACC carpets go through my collection, one new in the box.
There is an issue on all three of them where there is too much material to the left of the trans tunnel.
Over time this creates a significant sag and looks like a fat roll on someone's belly.

Next time I'll be using trim parts brand.

If the OP is interested in my tan headliner, shoot me a PM with the cheapest cost plus shipping you can find, and I'll beat it by a fair amount. It's Year One NIB.

How are Dante's seat covers different than Legendary?
I though he was a Legendary dealer.

The Legendary covers I got did retain the buttons differently than the factory.
Factory had a press fit sheet metal retainer that looked like a speed nut.
Legendary had what looked like an imbedded cotter pin with the legs spread out under the cover.

LOL , and I thought it was just the way I was installing them. yes , this so true, and it still bugs the crap out of me. I was very disappointed by that.

my seat covers look so good. I ordered them through Dante, but they arrived in legendary boxes, with legendary tags sewn on them. they came 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I hope they fit as good as they look.

How much was Dante's dash pad?

My Legendary covers fit great so far.

Rear is perfect, but had sharp wrinkles in the center that are slowly getting better.

Front bottoms are also great. I experimented with adding a layer of holofill style batting under the pass side bun, and it did make the cover tighter and more comfortable (My buns were in very good shape), but it made the seat back rub the cover when folding it forward on the hinge.
It also took away about 1/2 inch of headroom, so I can't do that on the driver's side.

I haven't done the front backs yet because they are far more involved and it looks like I may have to cut through the foam to work the rings on from the underside.
