Here are the pics of the Hood.



There are some things that need to be pointed out.



1. There are 2 dents in the hood both across the top, when you open the pics I circled them in red
2. The rust you see is surface and there are no holes from what I can see.
3. Some one in the past tried to install hood pins, they put them in the wrong spot, in order to cut them into the hood they hacked through the underlying hood frame supports to install the pins. I highlighted them in the pics.

4 the insert is intact with one of the mounting holes missing but it is not cracked.



Now my plan is to have the hood repaired, I have a flat charger hood with good frame, that is going to be my donor hood, they are identical in the frame support, I had planned on cutting out the matching support pieces and weld them into the R/T hood to fix the hack job on the hood. And then I had planned to fix the dents and have it stripped of rust and paint.



After the repairs I was planning on asking 2500 for the hood. As it is I am looking to get 2000 and that is firm. If someone wants to buy it I will let them have both hoods so they can repair the problems.



I also have the front lip and the rear chrome trim for the hood that goes with it and of course the insert goes along with it.
