Okay so I am still on the hunt for my first 1973 Charger and have seen quite a few. But I have noticed when looking at them that most of them (SE's) have a louvered opera window. Most of these are bolt on but I have come across 3 cars now that seem to have it as part of the body. See attached Pict for refernce.

Is there a difference in the models and if so is there a specific number in the vin I should be looking for if I want a car that has this option?

Someone has bondo'd or 'glassed those in and eliminated the vynil top. I've seen a few that way myself. Sometimes they look OK, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they crack back out. If you look under the vinyl on one that still has it, most likely the factory filler will be cracked. Biggest issue for me on removing the top, is that there is no drip rail over the rear windows, and the drip rail over the front windows is set way out from the roof, to clear the top material. Looks kinda funny like that.

that car also has non-SE door panels, and questionable seats.

WH21 & WL21 = coupe with stationary rear window
WH23 & WL23 = hardtop with roll down rear window
WP29 = SE with stationary rear window and louvers

There are exceptions to the above. There were 2 regional releases that were WH23, the Spring Special and Celebrity, but did not have roll down rear windows. Picture the SE louver with just the outer perimeter, no louvers.
