1973 Roadrunner

Great progress on the car! My first car was a 1973 Road Runner also, but with a 340, Slap-Stik and 3.55 rear. I kept it all these years, restored it and then later gave it to my son when he turned 16.

Keep up the good work on yours - you'll have a smile a mile wide when you start driving it!

I like the car. Engine looks sweet. How does the engine sound with the magnum 280h cam? Thinking of going with that cam or the 270h in my 440. going to be a fun car when your finished.

Thanks! I'm not sure. I haven't had the engine running yet, but I should be able to get it running soon. I just have a couple more things to do. I'll post a video of it running when I do get it running.

Did a little more work on the car. Put the fan shroud on. I would be happier if the fan was a little farther into the shroud but it will work for now. I took the automatic column out and put the new to me floor shift column in. I also put the door panels back on, along with the handles and new window cranks

I put the hood back on after work today because I have most of the work done under the hood.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me which wire is supposed to go where on the coil?

Brown +
Grey with yellow tracer -

You can figure it out .

Turn the ignition on.

Which ever wire is energized connect to the positive side of the coil.

The other wire is the trigger and goes to the negative side.

So uh is it driving now? I guess he got it running and has been driving it every sec of the day or he's in jail for burning those m.t. up in front of a cop and the cars now in impound. Who knows hopefully he will get back with it.
You know he could be tied up with cat and there money issues he might if jumped ship and took off to evade getting arrested.
Just another thought or he just doesn't like us anymore .who made him mad
