Ok, so I am finally getting around to my project/restoration thread...I am finally involved 100% in the project.
I am doing a 73 Sattell/Runner clone. It was originally a Satellite with a base spec package. The dreaded previous owner hacked and cracked this thing, so I am now involved in stripping it down. The lovely black rattle can job was done by me to prevent rust on some stripped spots.
The plan is to have this be a hot street car and daily driver. I am slowly piling up parts in the garage...so far I have most of the mechanics, including the 408, rebuilt heads, new rear with 3.55 and posi. Plus a rebuilt A8333. By end of summer, I am hopeful that I'll have all of the mechanics done and the shell stripped...the plan will then to be to finish the body and interior between Fall '11 and end of summer '12...wife is going to grad school so I get 6 weeks each summer to dick around in the garage :tongue8:
