Hi folks,
over the upcoming winter, I want to restore the optics and electrical components of my 73 Satellite Gauge Cluster.
Together with a friend, we already tried to remove the gauge cluster but we were only able to pull it about 5-6 cm before the steering coloumn got in the way.
Is it possible to remove the cluster without removing the entire dash (which involves removing the windshield) and / or steering coloumn?
Any help is appreciated!
Best from Germany,
Paul

Drop the column down. That is your easiest option. Good luck!

Did this in a 74 Charger last winter. Agree with both on dropping steering column. I also missed a few vacuum connections but it will come out.

I did it as well on my belvedere and dropped the column.speedo cable needs small hands
