1974 satellite package tray

Do I need to remove the rear seat and panels to install a new package tray in a 74 satellite?

I am guessing you could do it without removing, but you might end up bending or folding the package tray cover. I would remove the rear seat and at least one side of the panels, as the tray does slide under the edges of the lower panels.
