I realized Sunday while driving my 75 Roadrunner that it's 40th Birthday was Saturday the 27th. Kind of fun. This was a picture from last fall.

Happy Birthday! Me Meep!

My 75 RR birthday is October 16.

What is the last of the serial number? I'd like to see how close we are?

Mine is 129947

Thanks!

118345 That would seem to make sense!

So, there is a difference in 11,602.

Does that mean that 11, 602 cars were built from Sept 27, 1974 to October 16, 1974? That is 602 per day?

That's seems like a bunch,

Well they may have come out of different plants. You are right about that number seems way high unless they had a big run on Furys etc. Mine was built in St Louis.

Mine was 40 on 9/5/74 and it is number 114677. It arrived at the dealership on 9/23/74. Sold to the original owner on 12/6/74 after being the owners son's demonstrator. 75RRMurphyPark3.jpg

I have the window sticker and build sheet to mine. I don't know what the original delivery date was. Though I did buy the vehicle from the original selling dealer after the original owner traded it back to them in the 90's or so for a new Durango.
