Hey! First time poster from Norway.

This is my first v8 1977 Chrysler Cordoba with a 400, 727 and 8.25 axle that i am rebuilding this winter. Bought this earlier this year and had a blast this summer with the car, but like most mopars this engine was leaking oil bad so the engine, gearbox and rear axle is getting some work this winter!

The engine will be fully rebuilt with new bearings, new kb240 flat head with valve relief pistons to bump up the compression a little bit, new summit racing k6401 camshaft and some minor work to the original 452 heads. The engine already has long tube headers, edelbrock performer intake and edelbrock 750. Hoping to get close to 400hp when done.

The transmission will get a reseal and transgo tf-2 shiftkit installed.

And i will change out the original factory gearing and spider to a new LSD differential with 3.73 gearing in the back. Hoping this car will pack a good punch for next summer

Thanks for having me on this forum!

Welcome from Alabama, sounds like you have a great plan and solid project.

Welcome from Pennsylvania, USA!

I like the stance of your car!

Welcome from NY.
I like the round headlights on that car.
A 1977 Fury had square headlights interestingly enough.

Nice Norwegian Cordoba...a Nordoba?
I'm glad it wasn't an Australian Charger ....you might have named it a 'Scandingo'

Welcome to FBBO @Sebb77 from New Zealand.

Looks like you set yourself a reputation to uphold with a big number 43 on the sides. :steering:

A stroker kit for the 400 is the way to go if you are rebuilding it anyway. Welcome to the site!
