Well finally got a few pics of my 67 gtx....Here you go guys...It was an ebay find 4 years ago...I talked the guy out of the car...I told him that someone will do a fast restoration on the car and sell it for a profit...I promised to keep the car and keep in touch with the guy who is now retired...He still has a few mopars and we email back and fourth every couple of months...Any way...I pumped up the motor first...New edelbrock heads,a 509 lift purple shaft cam, rollertip rockers, hooker super comp headers...Mopar performance oil pump and for now a 750 cfm edelbrock carb...Lots of body work...New rear quarter panels...Found a guy back east that made them by hand...Any one that has a 66 or 67 b body knows how hard it is to find replacement parts for a 2 year only body style...I,m a huge Richard Petty fan so there is no color other than Petty Blue for my 67 b body..It also has factory tach and bullet turn signals on the fenders as options.I also had the faces on the dash and the tach resilk screened in challenger white...I just gotta be different!!!.Interior is from legendary, all original...Now it just nedds some a/c!!!!If you are ever in the lake tahoe area give me a buzz!!!!Brews and b bodies is like hevan!!!:woohoo::steering::steering:

look's great I had a red one with white stripes and it almost caused a devorce it's gone now I sure miss that car. anyways I love the pinstripe and the white stripes. Mike

Thats going to be one good looking gtx when your finished.

nice! I really dig that body style!
I just sold my 70 roadrunner( I was second owner 38K 0rig miles) and I refused to sell to a dealer, found a guy my age that really appreciated the car after almost 2 weeks of emails and phone conversations I sold him car.
enjoy yours, it's a beatuty!

That's awesome...Body looks great and Petty blue looks great as well...I am a huge fan of the 66-67 body style, if I am ever in the area I'll be by for a look-see and a beer!

Sweet. Love that color on that body!

Is it mini-tubbed? Rear tires look awfully wide.

No mini tub..It,s very close for clearence..I,ll get some motor shots soon....Rebuilt the tranny myself using tsr racing products...I,m having a little bad luck with it...No third gear...It,s going to the tranny shop on tues...Hopefully they will be able to solve the problem...If you notice the stripes come all the way down the front valance of the car...The early GTx,s had this...The later ones did not...This is one of the first 3000 gtx,s made...So had to do the stripes the early way!!!Oh yeah I forgot to mention that after the glove box door was restored I sent it to Level cross and the King Himself signed it...My buddy says I should get some magnetic 43,s and old style nascar car stickers and do it up as the kings car...Just for shits and giggles....Everyone knows that petty drove a 66 belvedere in 66 and 67...In 67 he has set the record forever for the most wins in a season and probably the most consecutive wins which is 10 in a row...Man i wish my gtx was a hemi belvedere, but what I got is really cool too...Thanks for the comments!!!

I,d rather push my plymouth than drive a ford!!!!!!!
