Yea man freaken football... Man you guys have good taste in women at least...LOL... watching G.B. beat the N.O. as we speak.. N.O. just scored though to make it 34-42 now... N.O charging & G.B. just stopped N.O. on a goal line with time expired...

Dang!

Saints gave GB hell! Far from getting thier crap beat outta them.
GB has a damn good defense. Glad I got em on a fantasy team.
Good game, tho!

A few more Saints cheerleaders...

Yep the Pack has set the bar for the NFC Central. Now if my Bears can only prove to the NFL and the Game that they weren't slacking off last season then all will be right in the football world....

I would like to brag about my beloved Raiders, but like the past 9 or so years, I have nothing to brag about... Bunch of under achievers... Oh well

I grew up a Raider fan. Now I'm more a fan of the Raiderettes. Oh well,as well...

I am officially on the Detroit Lions bandwagon. No,really;I've made bets and everything. Ain't got no Lions swag-yet-but that may change. I've tried to be a fan of them for decades, only to have the disappointments mount. This year feels...different. I like the coach-he really gives a Lion's *** about the team's future-and the draft picks have been solid under the new regime. Good crew of veterans as well. Just gotta keep 'em healthy.

Suh is a winner, and that will spread through the Lions. He reminds me of Reggie White. The Lions will be a force eventually (maybe sooner than later) - especially with that rookie defensive tackle they just drafted. Those guys on the defensive line will set the tone for that team. I'd like to see them do well - except against our Packers, of course. :)

64BEL;good comparison to one of the all-time greats, and it's one I've heard often. RW could change the course of a game by himself;Suh has that ability.

I'm friends with the owner/proprietor of the Springstead Lodge-we're on a vintage snowmobile site together-and we've got a Thanksgiving day bet going. I still owe him for a Super Bowl(TM) wager;he'll be paid with full ceremony at a large snowmobile show near me in November. On that site, there's a lot of Vikings faithful-I do feel sorry for them(no,I don't...)-and there's always **** being talked up on there. Lots of other interesting wagers there as well.

Maybe we should keep this thread alive as our official NFL smack-talk room. Could get interesting...of course,if your team sucks,well...your team sucks. Deal with it. Improve. Become competitive. If the Lions can do it,(almost) anyone can...

My team is going for the #1 draft pick... Would Mike Brown hurry up and die already?

Two things to consider:

1) You'll be competing with the Panthers for that draft pick.
2) Make sure the front office checks for a criminal record-as in "How much of a criminal record does this potential draft pick have?".

One other thing;RaiderNation has been wishing for the passing of Al Davis for a couple of decades. Maybe there's a Vegas-style prop bet-who goes first,Davis or Brown?

GO LIONS!!!

LOL, if the player doesnt have a questionable character and a rap sheet a mile long the Bengals aren't interested. Period.

I think the Loins could be a dark horse winner, time will only tell... I'm kind of PO-ed at Suh for not going to Oregon (I'm an ex-Oregon duck) & going to Nebraska instead, when he's from Portland Oregon... I got over it though... I was pretty much raised a Raider Fan, grew up in the east bay area Concord Ca., like most in the 60's & 70's that were in that area, were "Raiders fans" the Niner's games were like going to a H.S. game maybe 5K fans per game, the Niner's were the worst team or near to it at least for many years, until Bill Walsh & Joe Montana era, then everyone jumped on the bandwagon because they were winners finally, now their back to the lame crap they were in the past, barely a .500 team... "I Love them Raiderette's, footballs fabulous females", as for Al "Just Win Baby" Davis, his days are numbered, he's looking pretty bad of late, wheel chair bound, he is a die hard football guy though, no one can argue that, I'm not a big fan of him, but what can you do, it's his team after all... I was a Carolina fan for a few years but can't stand the NCAA Auburn University cheaten dog Cam "Pay me Now" Newton, shouldn't have won the Hiesmen Trophy with the NCAA violations, so maybe my NFC team will be the Lions now, who knows, lets see how the season develops, you gotta have an AFC & NFC team to route for...

I feel Kyle Vandenbosch was, and is a catylist for change on the Lions! His attitude has helped the WHOLE team! That guy is a winner. Stafford is considered the SAVIOUR of the team as QB. Guess what! Stanton [a local boy from the Farmington Hills area] is a GREAT runner-up for QB. This is a "Cinderella" team!

Yup - you really can't go wrong with the linemen who come out of Nebraska - lots of incredible players and leaders have come from that pipeline.
