Hello everyone. I recently ordered some 2 inch dropped spindles from magnum force. Okay I know people have horror stories about MF but I have never dealt with them before and I couldn't find the drop spindles anywhere else so I went with what I could find. My question is does anyone own these or ones that are similar and if so what do I need to know about rotors and calipers? I called mf awhile back and couldn't get in touch with them so that puts me to asking y'all what y'all have. If you don't mind chime in and help me out. Thanks alot in advance....Mark

I don't care for their K-frames and suspensions but the only issue I've had with their drop spindles is that the factory dust shields didn't fit.

Thanks for the reply. So when I go to order rotors and calipers what do I need to specify what I have or what I need. Thanks again... I just now saw a disc conversion kit that a member is selling.... Mark

73-4 E and 73-76 A rotors. Can use the later 11.75 rotors too. Calipers depends on which mounting brackets you have. Slider or pinned. 10" or 11.75"

l believe Willwood disc brakes are made to fit 72 and earlier spindles, and the drop spindles are the 73 and up big bearing type.

Thanks. Yeah I was reading about the spindles I have and it does say 73 up and big bearings. Since that's what I have what will work for em? The brake kits from MF I suppose. I just don't want to give a company ( that seems to not really care about it's customers) any more money. Perhaps I'm wrong in assuming the worst about them. Thanks for the info... Mark

Make sure to test fit the calipers to the spindle. I had to do some minor clearance grinding with a dremel tool to get the 2 mating surfaces to be correct and fit flat together. Can’t remember if I had to grind the caliper or the spindle though. Either way it’s minimal and pretty easy to see.

Cool. I've been checking out his website

Thanks for the info. I reckon I'm going to buy my brake system from Dr diff. I need all the knowledge I can get to get my car put back together and running.
