Hello all,
I just finished installing some missing pieces to get the wipers working on my 72 Satellite again. Does anyone know if there is a correct way the spring washer should face (on the 2 speed wiper crank arm) when installing it? The wipers seem to work regardless of its position but I would like to know if there is a correct way in case the wrong way causes wear. Also what kind of grease for these parts? I used white lithium grease to get things going but couldn’t find anything on a proper grease for this. In my search I seen Nacho had a post on the install but I didn’t see anything about the spring washer position, the service manual doesn’t give anything either.
