I will have to send them a pick of my car as soon as the vinyl wrap is on.It will be period correct or period influenced. Will have to change the wheels:eusa_eh: Looks like fun though!!

yeah you should plan to attend i plan on lettering up my car here really soon also to something old school looking , my buddys going to be bringing his nearly finished 65 plymouth altered wheelbase car to the event i will have some pics of it to share on here soon it really looks like a vintage drag car and your 64 would fit right in.

anyone from here going this is going to be the must attend car event of the summer just check out the website they are calling it the woodstock of car events i cant wait its going to be so awesome i will post pics when i get back right here on this thread.

Melt Down Drags

Good luck, Go get 'em, Looks like fun, Best of luck & take lots of photos, to share with us here that can't make it all the way to Byron, Illinois... Hopefully the 1966 & earlier body styles, pre 1966 looks/appearing paint/lettering etc. & the pre 1966 wheels rules won't deter too many competitors, from showing up, from the old photo below it doesn'r appear ir will... I know it would count me out, since I have a 68 RR with more modern than 1966 Halibrand polished "kidney" slot wheels, 1970 Vintage... I wonder how loosely interpreted the rules are ??, the Modern wheels deal will be a tough rule, since many guys have updated cars that are pre 1966, with more modern wheels & paint schemes/lettering etc... Oh well such is life...
