2016

All in all, a good year. I had an epiphany mid summer and have returned to my hot rod roots. Yanked the #s matching 383 and put in a raucous 383 I built many years ago. No more lawn chair !! Mid- life thing? Maybe, but when I fire it - nothing but grin. Got back in the Carb business for a few buddies, nothing big tho and enjoy that.
Nothing Political Steve.......here's to a great 17!!

None making any progress. I'll probably have to sell a couple cars this year. There were just too many set-backs in 2016.

No complaints, I have a wonderful son who turned one year old. Greatful for that. Still have my health. Hopefully my car will get finished in time for the labor day show. Always a learning curve. Also hopeful that our country will put our nation's well being ahead of personal agenda. 2016 was a good year, 2017 could be a better year.

2016 wasn't that great but could have been a lot worse.

Im sorry to hear that and hope you hold on to that Hemi RR you recently got. I know you mentioned you waited a long time for that one. Hopefully 2017 will do you better

Sorry to hear that M. Hope all goes better for ya, and you don't have to part with any.

2016 was a great year for me all the way around other than loosing my faithful pal of 14 years Sayde (Rottweiler). Never had to worry about the wife or kids with her on watch, just a very mellow mannered good dog that didn't back down from anything. RIP

Aside from that it was my first full year at my new position, my bonus tells me it went well:thumbsup:. Bought the Can Am which has been a blessing in many ways, enjoyed the Charger with no issues other than smoking the clutch, finally built a new garage and welcomed 2 beautiful kids into our family to top it all of.
RIP Sayde.

Best year I have had in business since '08. Everything else was fantastic. I see 2017 as even better except for the fact business obligation will cause me to miss Spring Fling

One of my best.

1- 28yr old son married and shortly after told I will be Grandpa for 1st time.
2- 26yr old son snowmobiling and drag racing his Demon with me, wants my car driving in 2017.
3- New insulated doors on the shop.
4- 33yrs of marriage....people tell me that is good.

I'm afraid I'm going to miss SF this year because of recovering from surgery, which @ this juncture doesn't look to be happening until March.

Sorry for your loss, it's always painful. Losing a BFF never gets any easier

I got to become a new father-in-law twice and a grandfather once, and got to drive my 74 Roadrunner for the first time since February 2013, so not a bad year.

for 747mopar RIP Sayde

we all know the great loyalty of our best friends/dogs are...

wasn't terrible but wasn't great either . glad to have it behind me . lets hope next year is better , here's to healthier wealthier and wiser in 2017

I guess since i started it i should post. 2016 wasn't great but could have been worse. Sickness seems to all around me and the only saving grace and one that i am very grateful for is my children and grand children are good. My wife had her cancer rear its ugly head, again. She had her third cancer related surgery and her fifth total abdominal surgery. All of that but the doctors found no surprises so she/we keep doing what we know best. A couple of months ago a very close friend passed suddenly. My son continues to deal with Type1 diabetes and the issues it brings. My faith in humanity still is strong and i thank the Lord as i could have it much worse.

Yeah Steve, it's all attitude. Blessings Brother.

My year was good. My 25 year old son his wife and baby moved back to our area. We reconnected after a few years of not talking. His family are a good addition to ours. The grand daughter is the best thing ever. I love being a grandpa. Financially we are ok paying some bills from a long time ago but cant complain.
God bless everyone with health problems. Thank you to all who have served our great country.
