Im back to work on my 63 Dodge and am going to put long studs in the rear axles{65 rear}. I have ARP studs, but they are 24-25 thousands larger than my axle hole. Will these studs work? That seems like a lot of difference. Second question,if they will work can I pull them through or will I have to take out the axles and have them pressed in?

I got Moser axles (direct replacement) and needed longer studs. The replacement axles used the same diameter studs, but Moser's three inch studs required drilling the hole out.

Standard is .665 and their 3" studs are .685. So I searched Summit and found these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrg-4311

They are 1/2-20 RH with .665 knurl, and are 2.875. I just pulled them through the flange, using washers and a lug nut. Not 3", but might work unless you have a regulation you have to meet. The larger one's will require the flanges to be drilled, Moser told me what drill size to use, but that was a while ago and I can't remember.
