So I bought a 64 Plymouth wagon in nice shape, but the original 318 is a little weak. After considerable thought I am going to have the original Poly rebuild to "hot street' by gary pavolich in San Diego.
I can buy and install a 440 for less money, but thought it best with this one to go POLY.
Anyone heading to San Diego from Phoenix area that wants to make some dough transporting the engine? Sure could use some help. Thanx, Bob Myers

Neat car, Bob. Gary will build you a great engine.

Awesome wagon!! Obviously a big block is the ultimate bad *** but don't be turned off by the Poly. Our '64 had one in it when we first got the car. Original 2bbl, crusty points, bad gas etc and we took it to the track and ran 16.4s with a 2.76 open diff and street tires. I also think they sound great through a set of long bottles.
