If 318s have no value, it sure is news to me. Maybe no resale value. If that's the only way you look at things, you certainly have a negative outlook. There's no such thing as a valueless Mopar engine. Especially the 318. It's one of the most dependable and depended ON engines Mopar ever made.
I have read lots of articles on the 318 build. nice motor for an a-body i think, JMO

same bucket , the wieland four barrel intake and the electric iggy are $worth more then the great running poly they are attached too. just dont race a prius with it. my motivation for going to a 44o oh and the car is the 64 polara 440 model.

'specailly chevy guys I beat...they ALL swore it was a big block.
chevy guys only know how to attempt to harrass mopar guys...point in hand....I was selling a 67 B body and when they looked at the trunk, inner rear qtrs, they claimed the qrts were all bondo'd up because of the rough,natural,stock appearance. I told them if they found smooth nice ones, then the qrtrs were messed with. They walkedNice lookin' poly.

The poly can look pretty mean to. I was going to stroke it but didn't, wish I would have now. It's running about 285HP now. Not bad for a Sunday cruiser.
