340 air cleaner

Did the 72 Roadrunner 340 engine have a flapper on the bottom of the air cleaner? I want to paint the air cleaner I bought to replace the chrome air cleaner, that was on the car when I bought it. Does anyone know where I can get the correct color for the air cleaner?
