I found a couple places that still have the 380hp Mopar performance crate engine but I'm also interested in cme 375hp version...

Any experience with either

Is the CME version a Magnum?

IIRC they list the Magnums as "high torque" rebuilds, and don't specify any numbers.

That leads me to believe their SBM motors are LA.

I can't speak to the small blocks but CME is doing my build right now and have so far been awesome to deal with. Before I ordered I spoke with another member (KnoGood) that recently took delivery of his built 440 and also found them very professional to deal with and everything came in great shape and securely packaged.

I had my 440 initially built by CME.. I have thousands of miles on the shortblock with mods in sig..
AWESOME COMPANY, second to none in quality, price, and customer service. One engine builder completes your build from start to finish. They have a great warranty. The only other company I could recommend would be blue print engines, here is a great engine for price (30 month/50k warranty).
