I know some where its on here .i want to get 600 hp out of my 00 360 magnum point me in the right direction please. It is going in my 72 charger. Thank you.

Go over to http://www.dakotart.com/forum/forum.php and look at some of their posts.. They are into the 5.9 pretty heavy. The limited stuff you could get when I had my R/T makes it an expensive engine to build. Now that may have changed in more recent times. But Hell I paid 500.00 for a Mopar Performance M1 intake for my R/T and nearly 400.00 for Harland Sharp Roller Rockers.

Power adder is about the only way you're going to get to 600hp. It wont be a cheap bolt on either. How much are looking to spend?

I know they make a Paxton Novi Kit for the Magnum. Also Kenne Bell had a supercharger kit at one time.. I'm pretty sure those are hard to come by now.

We run a home made turbo set up on a LA/Magnum hybrid. Makes close to 850Hp. But it took a lot of fab work. Also has good pistons. Our 1st set up was truck manifold turned around backward, home ported iron heads, good pistons, reground factory cam, good valve springs push rods and rockers, blow thru carb on E85. With a trans brake and 2.76 gear it went 10.99. With converter upgrades 9.99 with a 3.23. With bigger cam, better pistons designed for boost, good rods, ported Eddy heads, 3.55 Dana (8 3/4 no longer survived). Its been 9.55@142 3775 lbs. Also have a blown 340 old wornout roots, 2 Eddy 750 carbs, .550 solid cam, good converter, 4.30, home ported iron heads. 11.0@123 3885lbs. Making 450-500hp is easy without a power adder. More than that not impossible but not street friendly or cheap.

Yup bone stock.i have been reading about the stroker since i posted this it seems like the hot lick.

So I assume its a bone stock 360. You could do a 408 stroker here is an article you might want to check out..

I don't know where these guys get there info. The Magnum block is machined much nicer than the earlier blocks. It also is set up for hydraulic roller cam (huge savings and ease of install). The turbo car mentioned earlier runs the factory cast crank without issue. Not to mention all LS motors are cast crank.
Garage 360 build, how I do it
