I've just found out my converter in my car doesn't have any weights on it. I have a decent vibration in the car and steering column.

I check the converter and its not there. I order the Mopar converter weights with template. My only problem is that i have 8 weights (4 pairs) and no clue what pair to use? I've tried googling and ask.ca searchs but sweet all. I have another day off work and want to get these mounted asap.

I have a 360ci engine, XE268H comp cam, Headers and cross wind intake this is bolted to a Turbo action converter of some level stall( no code or vin to decode it) thats mounted in a 727 torque flite transmission.

Can some one help me with what correct weights to mounts on there?

Ok so anyways I got a brain wave lol looking at the templete or diagrams on paper they gave me with the kit from 1978. I decided to set the weights on the weight image's lol anyways the 360 uses the biggest weights, 383/400 use the second largest weights, 440-6 will the next set and the 340 use's the smallest weights in the kit.

The weights fit directly on the diagram and fit perfectly into the weight outline. So i assume this is how we figure out what weight goes where or on what Engine.

Makes sense to me. Unless there is a number or an actual weight of the parts I don't see how else you would find out.

Personally, I would've just ordered a B&M flexplate for your motor. (It's properly unbalanced).

Meep-Meep , there wasn't any numbers or markings on the weights lol i just figured i'd see if they fit the diagrams and they did so thats how i went with it.

Revhendo - i would have but I was in a hurry because of Moparfest up here and the simplest way was to remove the trans shield and weld on some weights. I would have been down there all day doing a flex plate.

Anyways the wieghts worked out good, no vibration in the steering column anymore.
