my comp cams kit came with Umbrella type valve seals. are they any good or should I go with positive type seals

The Comp seals are excelent. I use them all the time. They are not the PC Teflon style, but rubber. They do require guide machining. Stock seals work fine if you have valve spring/retainer clearance .

my guides were machined.

My exhaust is .3724 and my intake is .3716 looks like theyre good as the seals are for 3/8s

I know I'm late in the game but for what its worth Felpro has a decent explanation of valve seals and there difference

looking to order my pushrods.

my original lifters were 1.83 in size and my new lifters are 1.90

I don't have a tool to measure the rod size.

im using PRW adjustable rockers. should I order same size as my original push rods?

Why the bother of adjustable rocker shafts on a near stock engine? Have the heads or block been milled?
