383 adjustable rocker side play

putting my new rockers in and was curious about side play.

I see each rocker needs .10 to .15 end play. does this mean I would need total .20 to .30 total (10 to 15 thousands on each side of the rocker that rubs against the hold down) or 10 to 15 total for two rockers to go side to side? I saw some posts about someone using two 15 thousand feeler gauges on each side and torqueing down the hold down. want to be sure this is correct

When I set my rockers up on my 505, I used a feeler gauge between every rubbing surface.
Used .009,.010, and .011 feelers. Have full time oiling to rockers tho.
