A good friend of mine is in need of a 392 crank and rods. He bought a disassembled 392 and found out the crank and rods are 331/354. He would trade or sell these to get the 392 parts. He's new to Mopar so I'm helping him out. He is taking out a chevy motor to put in a Hemi so he gets some praise in my opinion. Send me a PM. Thanks Mike.

Mike, we have a 354 in a '56 F-100, and performance wise, weight wise, etc, if it IS a 354, he might want to keep it as is and drive it. Torque monster of an engine, and very streetable, while still being lighter than a 392. 99 people out of 100 can't tell the difference, and if he's driving it for the seat of the pants feel and the wow factor, he'd be more than happy with it.

A source for parts is http://hothemiheads.com/hotheadspi4.html . They have about anything you can imagine from an adapter to put a late model tranny or <koff koff> chevy water pump on it, to just plain stock parts for the engine, and TONS of good advice

392 rods

You can use 440 rods in this block. I used them in mine and they work great! You have to have them sized to fit. Just a thought.
