Looking to get a 4 Post lift....finally, and would like recommendations for good brands. I've looked at BendPak and it is on the pricy side. Their accessory rolling Bridge jacks are $2k by themselves. I've seen several starting at the $3k-$4k range that offer accessories such as Jack plate, bridge jack and 220v motors.

I bought Autolift 9K extra height. $2,300 before covid. It is 120v and 10 point something amps. Except that I had to replace the cylinder seals ($700) because it leaked, I am extremely happy with it. @threewood

It came with free jackplate and drip pans.

I'm looking at this one right now by Halo...

It has 220v motor option, mechanical locks so I don't need an air source to release them.

I just purchased a Challenger 4 post lift at the end of last year. I was looking for one that was only 100” wide which limited the choices. I considered the BendPak also but the drive through width on the BendPak was a couple inches narrower. Which was a problem for getting my Viper on. The Challenger also has the mechanical locks which I liked better that the air release.

I ordered mine from North Coast Equipment in Ohio and had it drop shipped to my house. They included 4 drip pans with it. I installed it myself in one day.

We had a 9000 lb bend pak for years . Had to replace the lift cables once and a couple of the momentary power switches over the years. Ours had the air locks.
Had a manual jack rolling plate then bought a air over hydraulic jack for it also.
Ours got used 6 days a week. No matter what brand you decide on keep it greased and lube the cables.
I miss having one.

I bought a lift probably 25 yrs ago from a company called Greg Smith Equipment out of Indy. They sold all kinds of shop equipment. Got my 48" blast cabinet from them too. They have changed hands and now only deal in lifts I believe. Mine is a 4 post 7000 lb with wheels and came with jack tray and drip pans. 110V. Has worked flawlessly since new. I think I paid around $2000 for it t then. Here is one they offer now.

Great suggestions, thanks! I need to figure out shipping for these. It requires me to get a fork truck to get it off the truck and I need to see how I can rent one or borrow one.

I have a BP HD9-XL. Bought it in 13. Unit, delivery, setup, rolling jack was $5k. Not sure what it runs now. I got it so I could work on my 04 3500 Cummins dually. I do have to take the outside wheels off to get it on the ramps. In case you have a truck, get one long and wide enough to fit it.

I bought 2 Atlas lifts from the Greg Smith co. a 7000lb and a 9000lb back in 2017, haven't had a single issue with them. Best tool I own for continuing the hobby as I get older.

I have two, first one purchased 10 years ago. I prefer the square post design as opposed to U channel. Initially tried to purchase from Back Yard Buddy, but they were complete dicks to deal with, so no go. Went with Advantage back then and quite satisfied with it. This past year I found myself in need of a second lift and went back to Advantage, and found them to be complete dicks to deal with and much more expensive. They are now owned by the same company as Back Yard Buddy, imagine that. I ended up purchasing a Wildfire unit which I am confident is made in the same factory as the Advantage. I did not purchase the bridge jack with the second unit as I already have one on the first lift. I am very pleased with it and their customer after sale service to date.

I have a Direct Lift Pro Park 8 Plus lift. So far, I'm happy with it. Right now, I have the 71 Challenger hardtop stored under the convertible. I raise the lift up to the yellow tape on the post to put the other car underneath.

I only have 2 car garage but I make the most of it. I have a 10-4" celling. The hoist does help. Mine is an Advantage 7000 lb. I use it mainly for storage. I do have the bridge jack for when I do have to work on something. I also added a winch that aids for pulling a car up that is not running and magnetic LED light strips that point upward. No need for a drop light .

I bought 5 of there 8000 lb Universal lifts. The build quality is decent and the construction is sturdy. They came with ramps, casters, jacking trays and plastic drip trays. They were 4 grand each. If I was using them everyday for a work lift,I probably would have sprung the extra 2 to 3 grand for a Ben Pak,but they are excellent for storage lifts and would probably be fine for daily use too. I have an Asysemetrical 8000 lb lift for my work lift. The last picture is my work lift.

GregSmithCo. sells through Tooltopia now, whom I've bought tools from in the past. Never an issue, and they carry Atlas. I will definitely look into them further. Thanks!
