I recently changed my 69 charger over to an auto. I am selling virtually every part and component needed for a 4-speed conversion. All these parts are super clean and functional. Many are relatively new.
The components in this sale are:
A-833 23 Spline 4-Speed transmission. Rebuilt about 5 years ago. 3K miles on the rebuild. Transmission shifted well.
Lakewood explosion proof bell housing.
Flexplate, Clutch, plate and housing and all linkage. Worked well when removed, no slipping with the ~350 HP 440 that is in my Charger.
All linkage for the transmission including the parts all the way up to the interior of the car. You are only missing the Pedal Assembly. In other words, pedal assembly not included.
Aftermarket Hurst Competition shifter. About two years old. Includes all linkage to/for the transmission.
Shifter arm- Generic
Shifter boot and bracket(Has a small rip in it.)
4-speed length Driveshaft- 5 yrs old. Included relatively new U-joints. Like new.
Crossmember- Same age. Like new.
Speedometer cable- New
Free transmission jack to install the Transmission. (Harbor Freight)
What is missing to complete your conversion:
1. 4-speed Console (Of course you don’t have to have a console. Just use it as a floor shifter.)
2. Pedal assembly that has the brake/clutch pedal. They have these on eBay.
3. I think you need to buy and weld in a 4-speed sheet metal Bracket for the tunnel. Not included.
I have all nuts and bolts when I removed everything, but I can’t guarantee there isn’t a bolt, washer, etc or two missing. I took great care removing everything. All the small pieces are bagged and the bags are labeled.
Everything worked fine when I removed it. As you can see, everything is relatively new and in very good condition. I will try to add as many pictures as I can. I documented it when I removed everything.
I also have a video showing everything that is for sale but it can’t be loaded here, as far as I can tell. I will try to add more after I post this ad.
