4 speed shifter

I searching for a 4 speed shifter for a 65 Satellite with the factory console. We are restoring the car for my race car partner. He gave me the car a few years back in pieces and I decided to restore it and give it back to him. I have all the original parts except the shifter, and has no idea where it went. Brewer's has the reconditioned shifters, but they are just a bit out of my price range. Any help will be appreciated.

That's a hard item to find!The handle is almost impossible to find.Good luck in the search!I have a console top and plate,console for sale if you need that.

Do you have any pictures? I have three different shifter handles, a short one with a white ball, Hurst "T", and the pistol grip which I am keeping for my 69.

The 64 shifter for consoles has a 3 inch offset at the bottom.

I have the the shifter handle,mechanism, and shifter rods. Not in the greatest shape but would be good for a driver.

Brewers is asking $400 for a restored handle. Fair considering rechroming costs. And a hard to find handle at that. So figure it out, a decent used one would fetch about $200 and it might not have the ball. You are $200 away from a nice piece to complete your car, and you have spent how much so far on the car?? Just curious.

We haven't spent much on the car at all. Most of us have donated our time and talents to get it going. Some of us are retired and others of us are currently unemployed. Believe it, or not this car has gone together on a real bare bones budget. Thanks for the input.
