I've got a 413 in my 62 belvy and I was going to use an 833 4sp, but the IBR on the 4sp is 4.8" and the BH is 4.35".

I was going to get the BH machined to fit the IBR.

But, i saw that there were different size IBR available.

Is it as simple as buying the correct IBR or are the bolt hole spacings different from 833 to 833?

thanks

I believe all you have to do is fit the hole size to your bearing. The bolt pattern should be the same and puts the tranny ion the correct location. After that the pilot bearing lines up the input shaft. BTW depending on what driveshaft your using, you might have to work out the correct combo for mating up to your tranny.
