I acquired a '73 413 block #2658836 which I was thinking to drop into my 64 Polara. I've read countless posts about 413 builds and thought about boring it out to 426 stock spec but I'm finding it equally challenging to find stock sized pistons for a 426. When I disassembled the 413, I found that I can still see the cross hatch on the cylinders and my dial bore gauge indicates that the bore and taper are near factory spec. This got me thinking that I could just pop in some new flat tops, rings & bearings and call it a day, but finding them is proving to be difficult. It seems all of the pistons at summit for example are also dished like the originals. I'd like to boost the compression up over 9:1 without a ton of machine work/cost.
Can anyone suggest a solution to buy some stock 413 flat top pistons?
I know I could drop in a 440 like most everyone else, and I have a good '70 block to work with, but I guess I like the idea of using something less common if possible.

Sealed Power 238P pistons are flat tops, 9.7:1 CR. Compression Distance is 2.00", Minimum clearance 0.0005" @ 2.94" from top of piston. Sealed Power rings E287X 2x 5/64" compression, 1x 3/16" oil ring. Hastings 437 (cast), 2M437 (moly), 2C437 (chrome).

Edit: Pistons are obsolete, but I have found a different brand/set that are available. I can sell them to you, or contact Egge Machine 800-866-3443 PN#L2095-8, or Hughes Engines 309-745-9558 PN#EGG L2095-8.000

They get them from Egge also
