426 Hemi Exhaust Manifold Repair

Im blessed to live in an area where we still have some great cast iron welders... shopped around the job and got it done for $130.

Nice. But at that rate, the 33 straight eight manifold I've got that needs repair would be two grand! Lol.

You could have it Grit blasted with #16 abrasive and I think it would all match. Nice job. How'd that happen anyway???

No idea how it happened...I bought a small pile of hemi stuff last fall and the manifold was part of the deal. I felt like overall, manifold was in great shape, didn't want to scrap it. Got two super nice passenger sides at the same time, so at least now I have a set

Good job: I've had them done before on the back port where they can crack and it lasted just fine. The welder told me the cast iron used on the manifold was of higher quality than GM used in their cylinder blocks.
