426 max wedge block

Hello,
Does anyone know what is max. over bore for a 426 max wedge block? My current block is .060 over but may need re bore? Also, If anyone has any info on sleeves, let me know

hello .....I have bored many max blocks ..4.25 inches to a 440 ..4.32 many times . the 440 std bore pistons are easy to find ! the 426 to 440 is .070 over bore which means your +.060 would only need another .010 which might be able to be honed ! the AAQA block is very stout . I have bored industrial 413 to std 440 wich is bunch of material removed by boring bar ....

You need to sonic check before boring any block if you’re already +.060".

i have a few 413"s that are 70-120+ & never had a problem with them & no there not hard blocked, as for sleeves thats really no big deal but plan on spending some $$$ to have them all done
