Hi Folks,We took the coronet for exhaust,with the help of my close friend Bruce Dunlap and my wife escorted the coronet to Mike Mccrackens garage here in town. Doing the exhaust work on my car was Clair Vincent today. He Does alot of custom exhaust for most of the Classic cars in our area.I really didn't know what mufflers to use because I'm really not fond of the drone of the flow master 40. They had a lot of different mufflers on inventory to chose from I didn't want real quiet and didn't want real loud. I slept on it for a couple of days and decided on flow master 44 series.My thought was 10.0 compression and 3" exhaust those 44 would work for me. While I was waiting for Clair to finish up we went and got a license plate. I pick the car up today from Mike Mccrackens And I could not be any happier, Clair did a better job than I expected.I ran it home and I really like the sound. Getting closer the only thing left is the trim for the trunk lid and installing the sanden air conditioner components

wish I had a 426 instead of this 440. I'm having nothing but problem with it overheating.....
My 62 Dart I had in High school (100 years ago) I put a 64 426 4 speed in it and it never gave me a problem right out of the 64 that was wrecked.

Hi Folks, We have been working on the air condition for the coronet.Everything is in place and vacuum tested. Tomorrow I hope to charge it with 134a refridgerant unless something else pops up.

Hello Folks,The coronet is finished! I would like to thank FBBO for allowing this thread, it has been a haul to this point almost two years to date.Special thanks to Bill Overcash,Bruce Dunlap,Alex Dunlap,Mike Hostler(Hoss) Zack (5.7) Mike mccracken garage and Clair vincent (exhaust) Delmar Baker,Tony and Ryan,Randy Moyer auto glass,Don Carnell,Jeff Myers,Doug Horvath (parts) The Ram Man (Brakes), PST suspenion,Brewers, Tri city Plating,Mccellan's Auto Body,Bob Brubaker,Joe Suchy (parts and advise),Bill Coady towing,Paul Rodland (machinst),Jim Drain for finding my block,Rhoades Performance (Dyno) and of coarse my helper my wife stood by me the hole time while getting brused and scratched see pictures what a wife. Now comes Dan Baker President of alumicraft street rod grilles.When I started this project the trunk panel was dented and pitted from being pot metal,and impossible to find one having the quality I was looking for.I did find one but the price was not in my budget.Dan Baker of Alumicraft also a relative of mine said he could make one.This man is a superior self made machinist.and did have the knowledge to program this panel in his CNC machine.He had many hours devoted to this panel and was determinded to get it perfect and it is.The 1965 dodge coronet 500 trunk panel trim is programed in his CNC for us 65 coronet 500 lovers if you need one at a don't break the bank price.He also has a website so check it out Alumicraft street rod grilles in Bellwood,Pa I can't forget Jesus Christ for giving me the talent I have.My next project is a 1965 corvette I found in a barn near home.I will be starting this project next week.
