440-6 Pack Carb Pics NEEDED HELP

Ok I noticed something on my six pack tonight and cant find my wifes camera so I was wondering if anyone has a pic of theirs handy and maybe you guys here can help me figure out whats missing etc


Basically Im wondering what connects to the primary carb on the passenger side where it has an open nipple it looks like

Are you referring to the fuel bowl vent ? there's a few nipples on the ctr carb.

there are three nipples on the passenger side. the one that comes off the body/passenger side venturi is for the vacuum lines to the end carbs. the nipple off the metering block is for the vacuum advance. the one at the base plate is for the choke pull-off.

I think its the vent like mentioned above as all the vacuum hoses are connected and stuff

Perhaps you could point to the article in question. If it's the nipple near where #17 is pointing, that's for crankcase ventilation (PCV)

there is a 3/8" fuel vapor vent off the bowl that connects to the breather on the passenger side valve cover. original '71 carbs and the aftermarkets have this bowl/vent configuration.

Depending on the year, the E.C.S. (evaporative control system) connects the carb bowl vent to either a breather cap or charcoal canister

Yep, I have both size nipples on my breather, one for each hose. Not easy to find one, tho.
